Manager & Community Wellbeing Lead, Colne Citadel
Hayley Murphy is the Manager of Colne Citadel and is passionate about creating accessible, welcoming spaces where people can feel supported, connected and valued.
With extensive experience working within community support, wellbeing and counselling services, Hayley has developed a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families, particularly those experiencing social isolation, emotional difficulties or barriers to accessing support.
Hayley is committed to developing services that make a genuine difference within the local community. Her work includes overseeing the day-to-day running of Colne Citadel, developing partnerships with local organisations and professionals, supporting community projects and helping to ensure that people can access appropriate support when they need it.
A key focus of Hayley’s work is reducing social isolation and improving wellbeing. She believes that everyone should have somewhere they can go, someone they can talk to and opportunities to feel connected to their community.
Through Colne Citadel, Hayley works alongside counsellors, volunteers, community workers and partner organisations to provide a range of services, including counselling, supervision, community activities, training and practical support.
Hayley is particularly passionate about creating opportunities for people who may otherwise feel isolated or excluded, and about building a stronger, more connected local community.
“Everyone deserves to feel heard, supported and part of their community.”
